Ed Sheeran nominated for Brit Awards

The young star who is highly recognisable for his ginger hair has been making quite a bit of noise on the music scene and is hoping that the popularity helps him fulfill a personal ambition. As Ed put its " I would love to be the face of my favourite drink, Robinsons Fruit and Barley.

 

Ed believes that a good haul at the Brits, at London's O2 Arena on February 21 will make it impossible for Robinsons not to employ their number 1 fan. Ed said " I am putting it out there now, that I want to be the face of Robinsons Fruit and Barley. I will dress up as a giant peach in an advert and drink Robinsons for free. "

 

The drink is the only request that Ed puts down on his rider. The Suffolk lad has stayed clear of booze for more than a year but admits he may fall of the wagon if he wins at least one Brit.

 

So with the fuss in motion and Ed making his stake on the music scene who is Ed Sheeran ? Ed was born in Halifax Yorkshire later moving to Suffolk in his early year he spent a lot of his time listening to Van Morrison and practising his guitar skills.

 

His love of music and devotion to perform has earned him a record deal with Ayslum / Atlantic Records. His debut release The A Team  charted at number 3 and was the highest selling and highest charting single of 2011 with 58,000 copies in its first week.

His latest release is Lego House which has so far charted at number 5 proving that Ed is more than just a one hit wonder.

 

With numerous gig and festivals under his belt, the young chap still only 20 proves to have what it takes to keep the wolf away from the door. So ginger could be the new thing lets see.
